The other Steve with the other WWP (but with a REW, just a minor difference ) and I already plan on having dinner one night at the pizza place that is right on the river a couple miles down from the lodge, if you guys want to join. I wont be attending the banquet this year since I will have my 9 year old with me.

Pizza place sounds good. Me and my wife have always just gone into Bryson City to pizza hut. They have a pretty good Mexican restaurant in Bryson city too.

hopefully i will still be up but i work very early so i dont know how much fun i will be at midnight, maybe i can grab an energy drink on the way up there and hang out for a while.

 

LOL I will be going to the hotel and going to sleep when I get there. Its a early wake up time for the Friday morning group drive! Plus since I will have the wife and my 9 year old son with me they will be wiped out too. I am thinking Friday or Saturday evening. I believe the place is called Rivers End Cafe.

You do realize that Fontana is like 45 min away from the event right? You're best bet is to stay at the Microtel in Bryson City if you want to hang out with the rest of the event.

 

looks like its 30 minutes. I'm coming down with my wifey and dad is bringing mom in his FC so the ladies might appreciate the cabin more than the cars. isnt one of the meets at the fontana dam?

 

Yes, the Damn Dam pictures etc are Friday. You're welcome to stay wherever you're comfortable. I was just making sure that you realized that the event was at a different lodge.
