Deals Gap Rotary Rally 2013 - Year of 13B
I'd say... Added over 2200 miles on the odometer to get to the event and back making it "internationally"!
It was totally worth it to meet new rotary lovin' people... And some nice setups too. Thanks Phil for the oportunity!

At 13000 miles, I'm in the clear for a while I hope!
Or Phil decides to split categories for the growing number of 8s... (Hint hint)
:-)
I was down there with a few other Canadians from April 13 - 21. Fun week, my fifth time to the Dragon but my first DGRR. I put over 4700 km's (2900 miles) on the car over the week and received 2 speeding tickets.
Wow, it was a great weekend I just wish it could've lasted longer but I guess that's whats next year is for. Anyway it was nice meeting some of you and seeing some of your cars. Defiently gave me ideas as to what I might do next.
Here's some shots of my car on the Dragon. It was amazing really.

I heard an 84 in a 55 from a caravan on the Skyway
Our group got a BS $15 county ticket for 50 in a 35 when I picked him up on the V1 and slowed the caravan a mile away
when I confronted him he said, "It's a $15 ticket...why would you fight it?"

No, I got a 65 in a 45 and the cop reduced it to 60 in a 45. $30 ticket plus $188 court fees.
That was my second ticket, the first one I got on the way to NC in OH. The cop saw 5 Canadian cars and pulled us over. He said we were going faster than we were but told us he would charge us the minimum fine, that was $90.

So far my temps have been pretty decent I was going to wait til that weather got here to see what they got to. Ill have to mount the stock ones to the splitter though if I need them though since the under tray is no longer used. Ill be sure to do something about it though.
Im sure regardless it will help though so ill see about mounting the up right pieces to the splitter.
RX7 Vinne- First time on the dragon, I suppose I got a little far over at times.

STL,
nice meeting you, love the splitter! and the engine bay!
No, I have a VR S1 with a Mazdaspeed bumper and Enkei PF01's. I was down from Toronto with two other 8's, one was a TiGrey S1 and the other was one of the two black S2 R3's. I don't know the other guy with the black S2 R3, all I know is he's from Quebec.
I'm not French Canadian, my nickname came as a joke years ago because I'm a rather large dude.

I am just thankful my caravan got off with a warning from those cops in rural TN on the way down instead of getting hauled off to jail like the first cop was screaming.
