ON Racing Beat exhaust for Series II

Looking for the RB REV8 exhaust for a Series II.

If I don't find one used, does anyone happen to know where I might be able to buy this new in the GTA?

Mazdee's in Pickering is the 'official' RB rep in Toronto.

Or you could order it straight from RB, shipping and custom fee is what's going kill y'all.

Thanks for the tip. I looked up Mazdee's, but they don't even have a website anymore and the RB site indicates that they are a dealer for Mazda 3 parts only.

It also looks like RB won't ship internationally due to the size of the box, so I just ordered the catback last night from Goodwin Racing. Shipping is steep at $248, but it beats spending half a day driving to Buffalo to pick it up from mail depot.

Wow! The custom fee is not going to be cheap on a box this size. Good Luck!

I ordered my BHR Midpipe, by the time it arrived at my door my cost was $780 just to give you an idea.. The duties will be another $100-150 depending on weight and size

Khurram,

There are no duties on the BHR Midpipe as it is manufactured in the US. I ordered one a month ago and simply had to pay sales tax which comes to $78. (Total cost = $500 us + $78 CDN).

Weight and size of the package have absolutely no bearing on the duties for any given item. Duties are determined by the value and type of item that is being imported.

The exhaust arrived on Friday. I simply had to pay $107 in sales tax upon arrival. Not so bad in the end. My Mazdaspeed dual canister exhaust will be going on sale as soon as I get this one installed.

So I took of the Mazdaspeed dual canister cat-back off today and had the Racing Beat REV8 exhaust installed. I'm running the BHR resonated midpipe and find that the RB is MUCH, MUCH quieter than the Mazdaspeed. I kind of miss the angry MS sound, but the build quality of the RB is definitely better and cruising on the highway is much quieter.

So this was the total cost to Toronto?

RB exhaust = ~$920 ($745 usd)
Shipping = $248
Custom fee = $107

Total = $1275

Price of the smile when you're pushing 9000rpm with the rb exhaust = Priceless

Yes, it was pricey. The shipping was also in US dollars, so the total was actually over $1300.

To me, it's an investment in the car as I plan to keep it for a long time and the BHR pipe and MS exhaust produced a very aggressive sound. It was awesome for short bursts and on track, but tiring on long drives. I sort of miss the angry MS sound, but the RB is much more civilized and makes a cleaner rotary sound rather than aggressive exhaust bark.

Agreed. Price is worth every penny. Once you get good quality its hard to go back...the true rotary sound comes out of a good quality product. Now that I'm onto re-amemiya ....I can't go back
