Up for grabs is a 2004 Rx8 GT, 148,000km, Lightning yellow, black leather, Fully load, Sunroof delete, no navigation, tastefully modded, daily driven up to two days ago, perfect candidate for an engine swap, turbo upgrade, race car etc...

Took car in due to the front seal leaking oil. Mechanic pulled pulley and mistakenly pulled shaft attached which dropped the bearing attached to the shaft.

To fix the front of the motor will need to be taken.....Estimate I was given was $1,000.

**Car does not drive, engine does not run due to the issue above.

The good:

Body and underneath solid - Small rust spot around the third light - no other rust.
Exotic speed exhaust
Mazda appearance package - Includes spoiler not installed
Racing beat intake and air duct
Original rims with p zero nero tires.
Overall in good condition
A/C works
Paint is in very good shape...still bright and turns alot of heads
Original pieces for air box included
Original exhaust included**Should have
New clutch installed recently
Transmission service and differential service done same time clutch was replaced
New Battery
New alternator

The bad:

Engine issue as described above
5th gear has started to grind when up shifting from 6th on the highway...Could be a very easy fix but have not investigated...does not happen all the time.
Heater controls need to be re-soldered...Believe there is a stikky on this.

This would be a great winter project for some one who has the time...

I love the car, and would keep it if this was not an issue.

Would like to sell car with all mods attached...

I have a set of R3 rims and tires on the car currently and for the right price I will include.
