I have for sale a one of a kind 2004 Mazda RX8. It is in excellent condition. The car has never seen winter. The whole body of the car has been over layed in real carbon fiber, from front to back. It has an aggressive carbon fiber hood, carbon fiber body kit and trunk. The body has about 19,000kms on it. It has never been in an accident(clean record) The engine was swapped with a JDM engine with a rare 5spd transmission. The engine has around 50,000kms on it. Brand new Optima battery. It has a Weapon-R intake that was recently installed. The car is lowered with Tein suspension coilovers. It has 18" Tenzo-R mono block mesh wheels on 225/40/18 Sailun tires. The interior is OEM factory stock and is in great shape. The only upgrade on the Audio is a Kenwood double DIN with Navigation. I own a custom car audio shop www.20hzaudio.com and would be willing to work out a package deal with the car to install a custom audio system if you are interested. So it's not carbon fiber panels, it's just a carbon fiber wrap?

 

Hood, fenders, body kit, doors, and trunk are carbon fiber parts bought to replace oem parts. the body is done in real carbon fiber overlay

The car came with 6 speed. So you downgraded?

 

Unless it came with a 4speed

 

The base euro models come with a 5speed transmission and 4port engine.
So yes, it's a downgrade.

I think it would depend on what the definition of 'downgrade' is....I'm sure the 5 spd transmission would be quicker around the track than the 6 spd...the HP is only a difference of 20 and that on a track would be minimal....
