where do you take you RX-8 for service? (toronto)
I was taking mine to Airport Mazda (originally just because I lived near there, and owned several Mazdas, kept going there out of vague loyalty.) They were pretty good about honouring 3rd-party warrantees and generally not being dicks; but at the end of the day, they're still a dealership ... cash rules everything around you.
Going forward, for serious stuff I'd probably go to iGarage in Markham, they get lots of props on this forum. (And if I absolutely needed dealership attention, it'd be Avanti Mazda. Stay away from all other dealerships!)

I went to Speedstar for alignment, suspension, and e-test before. They are very professional. They are more a Honda base, many S2000 and NSX go there. Alot of Subaru STi people go there as well.
The owner of the shop drives an orange color S2000 that lives in the same apartment building as mine before. Had a few chat with him. They usually do several big container shipment from Japan via sea cargo. If you are importing parts, good to deal with them.

That's because he's honest
. Anyone that knows the previous generation will say the same. There are so many limiting factors for performance upgrades on the RX-8. Despite that fact, there is a steady stream of RX-8's going through the shop as I'm there every day now working on my 20b until its done. There are 2 in there right now; one is getting an engine and the other is being revived from extended storage.
If all you need is an oil change, go to an oil changer like the one on 901 Sheppard Ave West. The owner and his brother are both rotary guys there at least.

Anyone remember a rotary shop called CP Racing in Brampton from years ago? I am just curious what the then owner, Chris Campitelli, is up to these days.
In the east end: Can-Saf in Oshawa actually races with an RX-8
In Markham: Viz Autohouse Ltd. services many rotaries.
In Scarbo: Scarbo Mazda is awesome for service and parts & of course Mazdees
In WEST end: Talk to Al (01racing) at Woodbine Toyota

^ Not sure about Scarboro Mazda anymore, as I had a total of three bad experiences with them. Once on my FD3S, and two times on my SE3P. Maybe parts, yeah. Avante Mazda & Maple Mazda are good for parts too, still honor RX-8 Club discount.
thanks for all the input guys
In terms of service at a dealership I definitely recommend Avante Mazda for those up in Richmond Hill. I worked there as a salesman and know first hand the service dept are good people and won't dick customers around.
