so hey fietguy, don't go to northshore automall, I don't give a *&CK anymore if they give me a courtesy car, I'd rather go back to wolfe and be without a car for a few hours than to have some guy break a part of my car for a RECALL service and not say a word to me afterwards.

ah well... just my bad luck I guess.... I really hate to have found out too, since I THOUGHT I had found a good service dept that I can have a relationship with over the lifetime of my 8, so in a way I wish I didn't check :p maybe the tech felt his dept manager would've gotten mad and took the chance of not saying anything.... either way... unacceptable

Thanks for the warning. I just got my damper and airbags recals done yesterday, I'll check the glovebox tonight.

I hate people who don't accept responsibility for their actions. If you break it, face the music; don't hide it and hope that no one notices.

well, I went back with the bullentine printed out and highlighted and talked to the service manager. He appologised and he was upset himself at whichever tech that did it (which he'll find out). Ordered in the parts for me. But nothing other than an apology which was enough for me, I mean the manager probably didn't know about it. But now my question is, when the part comes in, should I have the same ppl install it? I mean the tech probably got worked over by his manager and probably wouldn't be too happy to see my car again.....

sorry to hear that titus....

although port moody didn't do anything wrong yet, i felt they were very short tempered, definitely something to consider in the future...

i dont think i will go to them again.....you know as much as i hate the sales people at signature mazda, i think they are crooks, and they talk like it too, their service departemnt has been pretty good, kevin did everything we wan't him to with our miata.....

either that or wolfe mazda.....
