I chickened out at 220km/h, there was a curve in the road ahead and I figured since I hadnt been busted by the boys in blue yet, I wasnt going to make the corner.

I dont have very good luck...! But I was surprised, it was quiet, fluid movement... still room to go.

Maybe I'll give it another shot in the spring when the summer tires are back on..

sorry..are you at work when you try to put it on..maybe you are restricted..or you dont have Flash program on your computer...
I'm pretty sure it's that reason
I buy the .com and new servers...maybe you tried to log in my old site (.ift.cx)
Try to clear your history web view and should work properly..if still not...you are missing a new flash version...
Thank you,

Cool they are both good car..but my mazda3 automatic was faster on a circuit than a speed...lol
Power is less but suspension and brake was better on the 3.
On my video I follow a Supra turbo and I have oni suspension with
K104 Hankook...
My only advantage is that all my car are setup by me...pressure tire are near than perfect.. I used to be a set-up men for 3 years in stock car (ACT)
It's fun to have to drive 3 good mazda
Speed, mazda3, rx-8..but dont have the budget to have 2 of it at the same time..lol lucky you...

No it's not like that, I used to own the MSP but now my my younger brother is making the payments and I got an RX-8. And we just switch cars ones in a while.

I think MSP is a faster car out of the box than the 3 for sure, but the 3 has a much stiffer chassis, so once u start modding it, it would be better than the MSP (in handling at least)

Cool videos, the track looks interesting too. Good to see so many Proteges out on a lapping day. =)

235Km/h

Had to teach a 2006 Eclipse GT who's boss on a totally empty straight, ummm, track.

He wouldn't quit either. Pull far away, slow down for safety reasons, let him catch up, pull away, repeat.

I felt more comfortable going that fast in the 8 than when I drove a brand new growling 2005 Corvette (which is supposed to be 0-60 in the mid 4s, I like to add in 0-60 times to see how many people have a conniption ) at 190Km/h. The RX8 just sticks to the road like a magnet. The Vette did not feel stable around minor bends or dips and my brother and I would get very nervous closing in on 200km/h. A guess that's what the Z06 upgrades are for...

My old 93 Probe GT I'd hit 180 and start to feel like the car was attempting to lift off the road (tho I still managed to get it to 215. Oh to be young and insane).

Are there any good tracks in Ontario you can take a stock RX8 on and cut loose? Preferably something with bends and corners as opposed to a big loop. After an encounter with a deer I am very aware of the random factors you can't anticipate on those tempting back roads which can spell disaster for you or worse yet, others. I don't mean racing per say, just a sweet dedicated road or track.

Lapping days are what you're looking for. Shannonville, Mosport, and Cayuga are close to Toronto.
