We don’t need to save the rep of our club. You’re welcome to think whatever you'd like. We know that we are mostly respectful law-abiding citizens.
What you should have done was taken the time to write down that rx8's license plate and called the police, which would have actually done something instead of making pointless threads that don’t help anyone.
And before you do don’t tell me that you weren’t able to, if you had time to read stickers and he repeatedly harassed you, you could have. But instead you failed to act and joined a forum instead well done.
The rx8 driver may be an idiot but you aren’t much behind

I'm still trying to figure out if I'm a shooter or not. The negligent party is apparently a shooter, while the op calls himself shooooter, so I'm thinking the number of "o's" has something to do with the good/bad ratio. I'm deriving that I will consider myself a "shoooter" until further guidance is provided...

This reminds me of instances when I tell people where I went to college and they ask "oh, did you know so and so? They went there"

Considering my school had about 40,000 students that went there, no I'm sure I didn't know them.

The OP would have been better off taking down the car's plate and description and contacting the police. People who behave like that behind the wheel won't have any problems shooting their mouth off on a car forum. Sadly, behavior like that only gets corrected once the driver crashes into something or someone.

I share the OP's frustration with people trying to prove something on the street but coming here to do it is futile. I get antagonized by everything from Evo's, Subie's, Cobalts and even a turbo diesel or two. Complaining on public forums won't do anything. The best move is to be as far away as possible when these people finally crash into something.

I've had this happen on a number of occations.. but in my case it was whenever I went down to the States and someone figures out I'm from Canada...

Amurikan: "Oh, I know someone from Canada! Do you know Ted?"
Canuck: "..... oh sure... Ted... we're tight."

^You must be talking AT, because MT guys on dyno's pull in the 180's as expected since the drop is supposed to be in the 190's but that's before mileage and takes effect. CRH I believe had 200 at the dyno days with his NA mods. The rest were around 180ish for the most part with a few that had poor compression in the 170's

I wonder if the 'silver 8 with the cf hood' is even a member of this forum and comes out to our meets. Cuz since I've join...I've not seen such an 8...

Plus, I can't understand why you would put a cf hood on a 8 as this does not reduce weight but might actually add weight to the car...serves no purpose...just poses...much like the in-mature driver of the 8...

Just my 2 cents...

Thief,

Turns out the term "shooter" is a reference from the movie Happy Gilmore. There is a character named Shooter McGavin, and he is characteristically arrogant and showy.

So essentially to call someone a "shooter" is one that talks a lot of bullshit, goes on and on about his exploits and brags; but has very little subtance or truth to it.

Basically a showy, bullshitter.

If it was proper carbon it wouldn't... but chances are it's some of the siebon crap which is basically just fiberglass covered with a layer of CF.

O man, that just screams tacky. Are those the MAGNETIC Fender Vents you can buy from from Parts Source/CDN Tire like the one's on Buick nowadays?

I saw a shooter yesterday. Black 8, going up on Markham Rd. Wasn't in my 8, but driving back with my dad, in his camry. Guy was a douche, straddling lanes, cutting people off, to get to the 407, only to realize that the 407 on ramp there was closed. Black 8, no mods, looks like a philipino guy in his late 20s, if not early 30s. Plate was BBB* 258.
