What a shooter

Silver RX8 with a carbon hood and women's halo headlights on Dufferin St ..( Yorkdale )

First off stop driving like you have a pickle up your **** and slow the F down you drive your car like your living in a video game this is the real world not need for speed. Then pulling up next to me at a red light and reving your engine, like i would waste my time with a car that has 165 whp. Must make you feel like a man trying to race a 4 door with 4 passengers!! You give RX8 owners a bad name!

i like it when people get mad at rx8 drivers and make posts thinking that all rx8's must be here. when its more likely 1/1000 of rx8s are on the forums.

this guy must have been driving like a real *** to get this guy mad enough to make an account and post.

Well consider the *** in the rx8 gave us a bad name, esp in GTA, I would refrain from insulting the poster like this nate - the guy is "annoying" online, while the *** in the rx8 is dangerous to other drivers on the road AND to our reputation at the same time.

That's usually the way! Those that buy 8's with speed in mind ... drive faster than the speed of stupid. Those that respect the 8 ... live the 8! These are our members!

josh your being just as ridiculous as the op. think about how many bad drivers are out there think about how many times someones has cut you off do you write down the make and model of the car, run home and make ridiculous double posts on a forum you don't belong on.

this isn't a driver grievance forum and stuff like this doesn't belong here.

the general public thinks modified car owners are reckless specially ones that are "riced" up. its why many of us here try to tastefully mod our cars so we arent put into that category.

we on this forum are far more mature than to race around on city streets and try to street race at ever stop light. I'm insulted that the op thinks he can just sign up on the 8 forum insult us and run away never to be herd from again.

if a general member of the public had a legitimate complaint about how someone on this forum acted and took the time to write a reasonable post not one clearly written in rage we as a community would listen and try to resolve the issue at hand.

Nate, by being so defensive you just further damage the already "tarnished" image of modified car enthusiast.

This is a public internet forum, and we don't even know who is posting this. Even if this is a “troll” post its much better for US as a group to respond clearly and politely before resorting to ridicule the poster; Furthermore, even though what you wrote is extremely logical, the general public may not understand without pointing it out.

How do the public know that “we on this forum are far more mature than to race around on city streets and try to street race at every stop light”? By being defensive and just laugh at the post? I don’t think so.

It is a reputation risk for us. And it is much easier to get the message across by writing it in a polite way instead of just asking the OP to "go fck himself/herself".

To the OP, most of us here in the forum do not street race at all since we love our cars too much to get caught by cops. We take it to the track. The more we develop our driving skills with the rx8s’ excellent balance shown at the track, the less we have the urge to “prove” our manhood on the street. Afterall, street racing do not show your skills, just show how big your ego is and how selfish you are by endangering the driving public. I do admit I do way over the suggested speed limits on highway on-ramps but that’s with safe distance ahead / behind of traffic…

Finally, I can assure you that we do not know about the said silver Rx8.

Happy Motoring.

P.S: I still don't get what exactly is a "women's halo headlights"?

I agree with you Josh, I was overly and unnecessarily harsh while you’re often very polite and always try to be kind and accommodating as possible, and I admire that ability.

When someone accuses me or the people I’m associated with of wrong doing that we haven’t done I almost always politely tell them to go **** themselves.

Maybe that is wrong, and maybe it does reinforce the negative feelings the op/accuser has, but I don’t care. Maybe that comes from being young, maybe it comes from many years of false accusations towards me. But I will not politely kiss the op's feet and ask for forgiveness because I have done nothing wrong.

The only reason I responded so harshly to the op is because of his unnecessary comments, like “woman’s halo lights” in which he’s insulting halo lights, and the “165whp”.

I said it once and I’ll say it again; if a general member of the public had a legitimate complaint about how someone on this forum acted and took the time to write a reasonable post, not one clearly written in rage, we as a community would listen and try to resolve the issue at hand. If someone is going to come here and be an ******* I’m going to be an ******* right back.

Josh, me and you do not represent the whole of 8 club, my opinion is only mine. If anyone feels like saying something they are free to do so.

Point taken nate. You got driving skills and last thing you want is being called a "street racer"...that I understand...regardless, when you going to the track this season? I wanna see Dart Vader up my *** with your new R1s again haha

P.S: Damn I wanna see those women halo lights...but I thought we all do Audi LED now no?

I’m glad we understand each other josh your one of the reason i enjoy 8 club so much we have great times online and even better times in person track or meets. i consider you a friend that will hopefully last many years long after we've stopped driving 8's.

ill never forget that lesson we taught each other, don’t drive overly aggressive get distracted by others cause they just may spin as you fear for you and your cars life with a near head on collision.

I do plan on getting as much track time as possible this season so I’m sure will see each other on more than a few occasions.

I'm a car enthusiast myself and i know my way around forums..

Reason i came on this site to bash said driver is because he almost rear ended me on the highway. He was going at least 180 km/hr and almost lost control of the car, i had my fiance, sister and 3 year old god daughter in the car at the time and because of his stupid driving we all could have got injured.

Then it raged me when he tried egging me on at every red light after we exited the highway trying to get me to race him light to light over and over after his stupidity and poor driving skills almost caused a huge accident.

i don't appreciate any of the rude comments i received especially when i came on here to let you know one of your own members are giving RX8 owners a bad name by advertising the site and driving like an **** harming the public

There was a RX8CLUB sticker on his car

Oh wow...

Im sorry to hear that, that really sucks... theirs alot of idiots on the road.

People need to learn that driving like that is meant for the track, the money you spend on a speeding ticket is enough to go to a track day so why run the risk? And also run the risk of hurting innocent people that want nothing to do with driving like that.

Another member on here just totalled his 8 because some *** in a cobalt SS kept trying to race him on the freeway, he redlined his car and floored it in front of our friend and blew his motor causing him to create a huge smoke wall and throw parts. The 8 slammed into the guy next to him and then the wall...

a beautiful car ruined, great guy injured, all because some punk little kid wanted to race on the freeway...
