What do y'all want? Bringing some life into the club this fall.
hot pot is basically a pot with broth. Then you put raw meats and vegetables in it and let it cook. WHile people sit around the table and cook the food and eat at the same time. Correct me if im wrong ?
Note: pot is in the middle of the table LOL

Damn if only this was spring time. I wanted to install my whole apperance package kit. But im gonna wait till spring , dont wanna **** it up through the winter. So deff counting on you footman to set up another one of these for the spring time.
oooh go karting sounds like a lot of fun... !
heh, a classy gentleman's club would be a neat departure from our regular timmies/bbt kind of meets.
I have fog lights to install, so a install meet would work for me. Other then that, I am up for almost anything.
What about going paint-balling? Or is that too much exercise for some of you guys...lolz...

^^^ Paint-balling is good.
Lets get some ice-time and play some pick up hockey.
Personally I don't see anyway to save the situation here.
It is what it is.....
Most of members here don't have the same commitment or investment in to their cars or the community like the RX7 guys do, its that simple.
Remember with most new RX8 owners its there first rotary and (like Don Cherry) they find quickly whether they love it or hate it. But many come to the forum to find out WTF is going on with this car!?!?!?!?
This is the opposite to people buying RX7's most know what they are getting in to and buy the vehicle because they love it.
Not to mention (this is a gut feeling I don't know this) that I believe there is a larger age and interest gap between members in the RX8 Club vs the RX7 club.
Unless I'm completely out in left field I would say that the RX8 Club has a **** tonne more youth in College/University and even high school. This leads to many different interest not to mention what people can afford or they're available free time.
Honestly some of us can afford to do a lot more than others this causes event problems.
The caveat for me, is my free time which is typically exclusively only on the weekends as I'm simple not around on week nights due to work.
Oh and if I hear whining about how much it costs in fuel to travel to the meet I'll puke.
This brings to mind the shear PITA it is to travel around the GTA.
I think the best you can do is organize an event and just hope for the best and accept that people might not show.
The only other way to get commitment is to make people have something to loose if they don't show. For example the Dyno events, people need to drop a couple hundred up front to hold a spot.
However this takes a bunch more work (ask The Wulf) to co-ordinate, one which I do not wish to undertake.
None of this is an excuse for signing up to an event and not showing up (within reason).
The best we can hope for is to organize an event and hope there is a good showing.
Everyone should try organizing an event, an event they want to do. See what happens.
Maybe we might hit on something the entire club loves maybe we will weed out the ones that don't work.
Just go for it! :D

Fall cruise sounds good.
I'm pretty much up for anything - esp in the next 2 weeks since I'm off work for a bit (but im going to start overnight shifts in October so i might start showing up a bit less for daytime events then!).

im with Jay. im totally down for a fall cruise. has to be sometime after 2pm if its a saturday or anytime on a sunday. so long as those criteria are met, im in for sure.
BTW, wcs you've got some good points. although i think we've talked this whole situation to death at this point. like you said, it is how it is.
in any case, if someone wants to take the time to sketch out a rough fall cruise, ill make the trek out for sure.

schnipster that may be possible, there were some roads that Al mentioned also near Barrie we could take, would be different from Forks, and Forks is invested with cops and bikers nowadays. Sunday sounds best, if Footman is up for it, since your in Richmond Hill, we could figure out a track by getting together on Friday, during the Woodbine meets.
