there were 3 of us tonight and a genesis who pretended to be an rx-8 for the night it was good considering this wasnt an official meet, it was just for fun. hopefully most people can come on the fridays from what it looks like on the poll right now. Ill PM you my bbm.

 

Sorry i didn't make it out last night guys.. i wanted too but i got tied up with a few things.. will be there next time.

 

I needed new sparkplugs/coils/plugs and i didn't have time to do the deflooding myself too. It's at the dealer so if there is a next time, hopefully not, for sure we can do it.

Also, dunno if i'll get the car for friday. Maybe saturday

 

I added you guys to BBM (Fierce_Unleashed, and zoomboomgr8) I also have Rotary-RX8 on my list so i created a RX8 group on BBM, and invited all of you guys.

 

MC8Jai, i think i saw your rx-8 at timmies heartland, parked in front and drove by me as i was in my friends mazda 3.....i have to say you have a clean car, if it was you

 

I'm always in that area and always a that timmys so if it was red it mite have been me.

I hope i can make it the car will be in the shop getting a new cat, so hopefully it will be done in time

 

Glad to see you guys got this going! Fridays are definitely the most sensible night of the week for this sort of thing: let's face it, there are no excuses. If the car is your passion, you can spare a couple hours out of the week to share a bit with your peers. Come onnnnn!

Anyway I'll try to make this one as well. If not this weekend, then definitely some later weekend. Worth the drive, I say!

Anyone up for seeing fast Five today before or after the meet?

I was considering going to that Fast Five meet, but i don't think anyone else from the club is going.

 

I'm down to go. I think we should all meet up first a timmys then head over

 

keep your eyes open for the .25 seconds the rx8 is shown on screen in fast five (rear shot with mazdaspeed wing). Also stay after credits for short clip.

 

I was at the movie this afternoon. I saw the 8. I didn't stay for the credits.

 

A Decent turn out on Friday guys, too bad it was so bloody cold ,

Funny to see all the Civic boys, and the golfs and what not go screaming pass us like they had something to prove.

Hopefully mazda will have to come to there conclusion on replacing my cat for free and have it installed before friday. They are saying they might not give me the cat for free because of my ecu issue and misfiring. So they are gonna try and blame that **** on me. ****** *********!!

 

I know a guy that sells cats for 250 if your interested I bought one and installed it on my 8 before I traded it in.
