Alright everybody, its time we setup some weekly meets. It seems like every other car club has one except for us (my old subie club met up every week). I know there are a lot of owners around mississauga, and i wanna use these meets to unite the group. Let the noobies meet the veterans and let the veterans catchup among themselves as well. Not only does meeting up look sexy in a parking lot, but we can share thoughts and advice on our cars aside from the forum. Looking at setups on the forum are nice but seeing them in real life is a whole other story.
Primarily the meets will be held at the heartland area around Timmys or Krispy Kreme since square one parking security is pretty strict. There's already 3-4 of us that meet up on weekly basis that started a couple weeks ago.
Now, if the poll works we can decide on a day. However, i believe we are meeting this Wednesday at Timmys since its the warmest night this week.

I work in the area, so let me know when i'd be d own for this, i usually get off work between 6 and 7 what time do you guys usually meet?

I work until 9 usually. We all nee to pick a day to meet like at lunch time :P cause there's nothin like a nice warm drive with the windows down. But normal meets I'm down for anyday later in the day

 

unfortunatly, I can only do fridays for this meet cause i work 4pm-2:30am Mon-Thurs. So hopefully Friday gets chosen for the Meet Days

I work at a plant where we assemble and test Shock Absorbers for US and Canadian military vehicles such as the Stryker.

 

When will the decision be made on the day?

 

the poll is open for another couple of days. the meets on the voted day would officially start next week since its possible that the chosen day would have already passed by the time all the votes are in. As for this week, there's a wednesday meet mentioned above.

I voted for friday nights as well, and i'd vote for timmies since the parking lot there is SOOO much bigger. Claim territory and show rotary pride :P

yah it is the one on brittania. Im with you guys all the way in terms of showing off some rotary pride. Its about time. If the general consensus is still friday by thursday, we might as well have our official meet this friday!

 

i most likely wont be able to make it this friday, cause its good friday and i gotta do some stuff with her and her family.

 

For time and date, it's all about trying to accommodate everyone as best as possible. Friday seems like the best day to do it (end of the week, beginning of weekend). From the sauga people that already interested by msging, 9:30-10 would be ideal to meet....so if you want to start a time frame for meet's i'd say start there.

Also, most likely won't make it tonight, car won't start. fun times ahead!

 

since it is good friday this friday, our official meet will be next week then. For those who can make it tonight, its at Tim Hortons on Britannia and mavis at 9:30pm.

Lol I was able to study for my exam all day so luckily I can make it good luck on your exam. I know how stressing it can be.
