waranty has expired

Yep... as of yesterday my "one year, 20,000km " warranty is finished! Just turned the odo above that mark. Anyone in Canada beat me to it?

Sorry to have made your blood pressure spike... we have a 3 year 80,000 km warranty on the car but also a one year, 20,000km that is bumper to bumper for just about anything that won't wear out . 3 years is one less then you guys but 80000 km is a bit more then you. Anyway i will surpass the 80K mark before the 3 year mark.

how can you have it 11 months when they first arrived at the end of july? Or maybe Ontario had them earlier.

Almost 8 months, 2,850 km. I'm with Deep Blue on the winter storage. Out of the 8 months, it spent 4-1/2 in storage.:D

Cool Long gone......

I went to the dealer to get an extended warranty (I remembered you have a year to buy one) and they asked how many kilometres on the car.
I wasn't worried because it was nowhere near a year yet, 19,770k.
No, thats a year OR 20,000k!
Got the 6-year bumper to bumper, and my 20k rolled over last week!

Guess Doctorr beat me to it... I gambled and did not take any extended warranty. I figure odds are good that i will not have to pay over 1000$ of covered repairs in the next 5 years.

Cool Warranty.....

Don't get me wrong, f1Guy, I have the greatest faith in the build quality of my '8, it's just that if I sell in the next five years, that transferable bumper-to-bumper will assure a buyer that they are not 'taking a chance' on an unknown used rotary!

This is the first extended deal I've ever bought on ANYTHING, but I can see selling before the warranty is up, and recovering all my cash, and then some!

I may be crazy, but I'm no fool!

Heh, I'm counting May as complete I guess....I took delivery of one of the first back in the beginning of July last year.

So lets say 101/2 months then
