Vancouver/Richmond rim repair shops...

Hello all.

I need some help from the 604 (or 778) people - I lightly kerbed a rim, and I'm looking for quotes on refinishing it. My service rep that I spoke to on the phone was clueless, but I'll try and speak to someone knowledgeable when I go in this week.

However, referrals or rants on shops would be appreciated in case Mazda says I have to replace the rim...

TIA.

Thanks. I received the same referrals from the dealer, but with the warning that they're all slow in getting the work done... <sigh> Green, apparently, will come out to a dealer to get it done, so I might try and coincide the repair with the next servicing.

Take it into a reputable tire shop...have them send it in...or call yourself. The dealer is the last place I'd want messing with rims and tires...most of them don't know that the tires can go on backwards ( ask me how I know )

Did mine through Metrowtown Mazda with Nubrite and I have the polished rims. Got loaner from dealership & Nubrite picked up the wheel.

Whoa, loads of replies... By the looks of it, we could do a group-deal on the rims.

Oh, right, well, Signature Mazda thinks around $100 or so for light kerbage; I haven't had the time to check out the other shops.

Mine was $300, keep in mind I have the polished rims. They(Metrotown Mazda) had thought ~$120 for the regular ones.

Only because they are the high-polished rims. The ones that Mazda sells for 3k...
