TSBs in Canada

Is anyone interested in maintaining a thread of TSBs for the 8 supported here by Mazda Canada?
Do we have anyone with Mazda Canada who will PDF or post the TSBs that the dealer network here will support/accept?

Yes this would be good info, so not all the US TSBs apply to us?

Correct. For example, Mazda Canada is still mulling over replacing our front brake pads.

I just noticed my car has squeaky brakes!! I always thought it was the other cars around me, but I was wrong! Also the excessive brake dust is becoming annoying as well, makes my rims look like gun metal

Yes TSB thread would be great, most of the mechanics don't know to much it seems (i'm sure they do, they are just uninformed

This is a great idea. I'm having trouble getting the latest flash. I'll have to see if they'll do the seatback replacement.

It would definitely be a good idea. But sometimes I get a funny feeling that mazda can or dealers don't care too much about owners, they seem more interested in potential sales.

Anyway I was really annoyed after reading this post on brakes. I took my car in to Performance Mazda here in Orleans Ont. for an oil change just last week. I had mentioned that my brakes are squealing a bit. 30 mins later when they gave my keys back, the guy looks me in the eye saying that they were unable to repro the noise that I have to wait until it is consistent for them to do anything.

As much as I sort of like the 8 and previously owned a miata, I'll probably end up broadening my choice in car manufacturers next time I'm looking to buy a car.

After bothering Carling Mazda, in Ottawa, a few times they took the brakes off and cleaned them. That solved the problem for a few months but the sound is back again.

It seems their test to reproduce the noise is the braking involved in pulling the car onto the lift; not quite hard enough. Give them a speed range and maybe it'll help.
