Hi Guys,
I'm in toronto. A meet in the late spring or early summer would be great. FYI--I used to me logged in as samyv. I changed my email address. So I am now Samyv2.

Live in Newmarket, drive the 404/DVP every morning between 6:30 - 7:15 am all the way to downtown. Funny how I don't complain about traffic anymore to my wife:D

hey S-air ...
About the ecu ..... I never touched mine at all. In regards to the gas milage... I get about 275km from a full tank. When I drive hard I get 200km on a full tank.

I'm in Mississauga. I've seen a black one close to my neighbourhood a couple times. There's a silver one at the Clarkson GO station my wife sees frequently and I've see a red one going north on Appleby Line at Hwy. 5 at 5:30 in the afternoon about 3 times. I've seen a few others but these ones I've spotted a few times. Look forward to hearing about a get together with some other members. I'm thinking about bring my car out of storage in time for Easter weekend (weather permitting).
As far a gas mileage goes, I didn't drive it hard at all for the two months I drove it before it went into storage, and I didn't get more than 300 kms. but that wasn't taking it real low into the reserve. Gas mileage was not good at all though.

Since we are discussing the gas mileage again, on a full tank I can get anywhere between 300-450 km depending on how often I use 6th gear. In normal rush hour traffic, 6th gear may seem overkill but it makes a huge difference to the mileage. Revs are around 3000.
The 300 Km per tank comes when you can open her up and live up near 7000revs a lot.

Hey...I am also in Toronto...Eglinton and Jane area. My 8 is Titanim Grey.
I have not seen any 8 around here. I have seen very few on highway going up north to visit my parent.
I must say that my fuel mileage is also suck...280Km to 330km per tank...depending on the how much I use highway.
Does anyone know which Mazda dealer in or around Toronto provides better services to the 8 customers (or at least the service department has more knowledge and experiences on Rotary engine). I am not too happy with the one I got my car from.
