New 6 tried.
New 8 haven't... we should try and see what this new 4.44 gear is all about, and this new miata gearbox. I heard the 1-2 shift awkwardness is gone now.

Went to Scarborough Mazda today and their service is AWESOME!
Excellent conversation! Al and Nick totally take care of my 8 today~This is my first time having the "home feeling" from a dealership ~
Big thanks to Al and Nick once again !

Just wanted to share my experience going to scarbs mazda, i did a quick drop in this morning to get my starter replaced as i've been getting really weak startups for the last little bit even after replacing the coils, plug and wires (btw RB Ultra wires ftw) i got to the dealership a bit late due to traffic, but mark @service was quite nice, the only downside was it got pretty backed up in service and mark mentioned the tech that he wanted to have working on my 8 was behind due to a brake job on an earlier appointment so there was a slight delay of about an hour or so, no biggie! (i'll wait for great service!) Time was easy to kill with that cool little coffee machine & a iPhone...i also did a full scope/sitting of the R3 as well a proper drooling for the cosmo in the showroom (very nice!). Man...the R3 seats are sooo nice...great place and nice people to talk & deal with! Unfortunately, Al was away and Steve was busy so we couldn't meet face to face...hopefully next time!
oh just to add about the Now-installed updated "high-speed" starter as Steve called it...WOW...the car starts up with authority now lol...start up times go from 3-4 seconds before to about 0.5-1.0 seconds, geez i love it!
