The more I read this forum, the less I can wait for my car to come. Can anyone help me find a red GT 6sp with roof?

Appreciate any help.

 

Steele Mazda in Dartmouth, NS (where I got my car) has a Red 6spd w/ roof and Nav... close enough?

 

Thanks Redshift but Wing had also told me about the same spec at a dealer in Ottawa. I've decided not to get the Nav system since I can't see myself having any reason to use it.

Anyone else know of a car right now?

 

That's the same setup I'm getting. I went to the dealer in May/June and put a deposit. He said he'd try to find one at another dealership, but as of last week he told me I'd get it in December.

Sounds like the dealer is screwing you around. You should have had your car by now if you put a deposit down in May/June. My car was ordered at the end of August for end of October delivery.

I was just looking to see if anyone knew of a car available sooner that my dealer could swap with.

 

Or hang on another month and wait for the batch of used RX-8s buy-backs to circulate through the auto-auctions...

 

That`s exactly the car I have . Get this; I sat down with my sales rep. August 8. I told him that I went elsewhere before and that if he could deliver the car sooner than the next guy, he would get the business. We signed the contract for wich he had 48 hours to tell me if he could get me the car in within 2 weeks. He finally called me back and told me I would get only in a month. I still went ahead with the deal and got it exactly a month later as promised. It`s been a little more than 2 weeks taht I `ve been driving the car and I am enjoying it verrrrryyyyyyy much.

 

Taffy: I was talking to my guy at Steele Mazda today, about the car you were looking for. Like I mentioned, they have a Red GT w/roof and Nav on the lot.

He's willing to move on the price of the car, so as to absord some of the price difference on the Nav package (which will actually work in Ontario.. it's no good down here.)

FYI: Whitby Mazda has a red one on the lot, but it's loaded w/all the accessories... they want $48,000 plus...

It's a red GT w/spoiler, full ground effects, moonroof and navigation plus exhaust finishers..
