Speakers Mod

Does anyone have some mod on their speakers?

I am looking for 2 options in here

1.
$350 CDN in future shop

Infinty Reference component speakers 6.5 including installation 60w each.

2.
$1000 total add up

MB quart DSF 216 6.5 recall, in future shop
400w amp MTX

Now my question is do I need to have to buy new wires or just unplug the oem wires and plug into my new speakers? Which option should I choose?

Thanks!

Do some searching in the appropriate forum.
If you have the BOSE system - it's not quite so simple as just replacing the speakers as the stock speakers have strange impedances.

Yup, always check impedances on new speakers, home, car, or otherwise (mmm, fried amp...).

It seems to be relatively easy, though.

You have 9 inch subs in the front door panels and will need a little bit of custom work to get those 6.5s in.
