So I found THIS jammed in btwn the oil cooler and bumper... (CAUTION: kind of gross)

Just thought I'd share something that made me want to vomit this morning.

I went into my garage to finish detailing a 2007 RX-8 GT my father's dealership took in from a Mazda dealer and I see a bunch of stuff jammed in btwn the oil coolers and bumper - looked like a bunch of leaves to me at first:

So I grabbed my gloves and proceeded to pull it out. I had washed the car yesterday night so this mass of stuff was still kind of soggy. After grabbing it, it became immediately clear this wasn't a ball of leaves -___-"

Anyways I grab a plastic bag, brace myself, and pull out this soggy mass and... ta-da:

Makes me kind of glad I have oil cooler screens on my R3 now.

I had that a few months ago in my lower air dam, right in the back. I dont know why our cars are prone to eating birds.

For all of the years I've owned my 8 I've never hit a bird...

That guy must have been jumping hills or something because I never see birds fly that low.

Had a deer do a dukes of hazard hood slide on my 85 corollas couple months back, almost no damage, and RX8 a bird too, similar to OP.

I hit a pigeon on the 401 a few months back. Scared the hell out of me! I was doing 130 in the fast lane about 4 car lengths behind a van. The van apparently drove over a pigeon that decided to land in the middle of the lane. As the van passed over it took off.. It made it about a foot off the ground before I hit it. All I heard was a thump and saw a huge cloud of feathers behind the car!! I pulled off at the next exit but couldn't find a scratch. I got off lucky :-)

was making a sales call at a shop one day ... car was in because it was running a tad hot ... this is what the tech was telling me ... then he tells me to look from underneath as the car was on the lift ... sob a pair of roadrunner legs sticking down the remainder in front of the radiator ... ewww sad way for a cartoon character to meet it's end

I clouted a raccoon with my 8. The raccoon ended up dead and my car did not have a scratch.
