I jus took my 8 for an oild change at 4500km..no big deal. Had an appointment at 8:30am and my car was still out at 9:45am. Eventually I got it back about 10 after 10. Ok..I can eat that coz sometime things happen. When I see the bill, they charged me 38 and change with the oild change. I remember clearly there is a pamplet I received that the oil change is 26.95 for all cars. They told me I need a coupon for that or its 29.95. Then there is a 4.5 dispoal charge. I am not trying to make a big deal out of 3 bucks, however, if it is 26.95 then why should I pay more. I verfied with Mazda Canada that it is indeed 26.95 for all models and being lie on destroy my trust to the dealership. I am thinking to take my car to another dealership even that might mean a longer drive.

 

I don't know exactly how much it should be for oil change should be, but I think RX8s takes more engine oil than regular cars.. maybe that's why it costs a lil more... I could be wrong...

But the $4.5 disposal charge is a standard charge anywhere u go... (orders from the government.. lol)

I've read alot of complain against that dealership.

Go check out the protege club forum. They rated the dealership poorly in service and misleading customer.

I think I will move to Avante next time even its a bit of drive for me but rather than having some imcompetent people servicing my car.
