Sad to go, this club has been amazing!

Hey guys!

I've only been on the forums here for about 2 years I think (maybe less?) and have learned a lot about this fabulous machine! This car has been great for me, save for the many times I've had to drop $$$ into it to fix small things.. but they all add up.

Now with a kid on the way (due April 4th!) I'm sad to say that I am losing the 2005 VR for a brand new *gasp* Hyundai Santa Fe AWD Sport. Need it for all the kiddie accessories that won't fit on the 8 due to small trunk space. :****(

Aaaand Gas has been a biiiiatch lately hasn't it? Man! 300 KM on a full tank? bah.

regardless, something more fuel efficient, no premium gas, lots of room and I can plow through harsh southern Ontario winters with was in order. My poor baby will never know the whirrr of Rex's rotary engine, coupled with the loud *** 3" exhaust system that she's currently running, not to mention the sub and amp in the trunk to help drown it.

The dealer will buy me out of my existing financing, and I'll be lucky if I can indulge on a new sporty vehicle before I'm 40, maybe the new rotary will swing me back into the fold.

DarkBrew, thank for trying to assist with the DRL, best of luck to you, but I won't be able to get you my defective ones (new car coming before weekend)

I do have some spare parts that I can sell to anyone interested, PM me and I'll tell ya what I have, most of them are stock items.

To all the folks that I met at the Dyno Tune last summer, it's been a slice, I'll always keep an eye out for you whenever I see an 8 rumble past me (ShaoJie is just down the street from my work, I see his turbo'd 8 every day..)

Anyways, thanks guys! Be nice to the newbs, but never stop the trolling.. forum is so funny that way!

I'm glad my kid is grown-up.

When we were raising her, you didn't need a trunk full of accessories (still don't, as far as I know). Just a car seat and a bag. Easy.

Good luck!
