Saab School
The Saab Enhanced Driving School is coming up.:
The date is Oct 5th.
Cost 245CAD taxes in.
Track: Shannonville (full track).
If anyone is interested contact:
School Organizer
Patrick Turner (drivingschool@saabclub.ca)
more info at:
http://www.saabclub.ca/school
Hope to see some of you there.
I know that this is not as much fun as having a parking lot meet but it is still not bad.

For people who never heard about the school. The instructors are the usual mix of BMW Trillium (mostly), Ferrari, Porsche clubs /racing drivers. In class instruction is given by Derek Hansen who teaches pretty much in every other school. The school mostly attracts non-Saab (so it is not a Saab only or mostly school.)
They day breaks down into classroom, track, skidpad/slalom/etc.
I think solo lapping is available for advanced.
P.S Colder weather; Less wear

I volunteered there a couple times a few years ago. This is a pretty good school. I don't know if they still do it, but they had brake distance and avoidance exercises. They had some oversteer lessons on the skidpad and slalom on the track. Pretty darn educational.
