What do you guys think (good idea or not) and also not sure if there is one already.
A large: GTA RX8 CLUB banner for big meets like were having on the 29th of April or events in the future like BBQ meets or large track days when we do have a large amount of cars showing.
Just a thought what do you think.

So just to confirm, you guys are doing the compression testing starting around 8am on Sunday the 29th, at the Dave&Busters lot (south-east side of Hwy7 / Hwy400). Hopefully done by 1pm, which is when the meet proper will begin. Later a cruise, and maybe some eats?

was running from cops, hit a dead end road with 75% incline at end, pretty much flew and landed hard on grass, it doesnt sound that bad only needs new front bumper, rad and couple of bent stuff underneath =S

Compression Test Peeps pay attention
I will be onsite by 8:30 am
The current list is the order I will follow should it be necessary (if there's already a line up)
That being said first come first serve, if no one else is there waiting.

What YOU need to bring:
1) Your motor presumably in your car (duh)
2) Remember to bring any special tools required to remove your wheel!
3) Your assistance and a Beer! The cost of the compression test is essentially free but your help and a charitable cold bevy is always nice. Cans bottles lager or ale its all good.

Tools I am bringing:
- Torque wrench 1/2 drive
- Johnson bar 1/2 drive
- 1/2 drive to 3/8 drive adapter
- Assorted 3/8 and 1/2 drive sockets
- 4 Jack stands (I'm not sure if we will use 2 or 1 per car atm)
- 1 hydraulic jack
- Some wood to drive up on (if we need it)
- Spare plugs
- Spare wires

Upon completion of the compression test you will receive:
1) A pat on the back
2) Your official Not a Newb fridge magnet
3) A form with all the compression particulars:
- PSI per face
- RPM per rotor
- Difference between chambers
- Difference between rotors
- Altitude compensation factor
- Dead Space compensation factor
- Normalized psi value using the Android app

There is also a Foxed.ca app that seems to give slightly higher numbers. This app has been "developed to be used with the TR-01" the compression tester I will be using. However I have some doubts about the validity of the calculations it is using.
Anyways, you'll have all the numbers you can plug in to it if you wish to use that Compression Calculator when you get home or using your smart phone web browser.

And while we are on the topic of Compression Calculators, remember this is not the same device or calculator Mazda uses. While the numbers should be close there is no way I can say for certain that Mazda will match the readings.

What these numbers will mean to you:

1) Yesss my compression was way over the minimum requirement set by Mazda. Then an actually test from Mazda should also show the similar results.

2) **** my compression is really low, then you should expect similar results of failure from Mazda

3) On no's I'm right on the border line! Well then its anyone's guess what Mazda might record for a compression test.

But wait WCS what about an RX7 can you do those?

Hell yeah, however:
1) I'm not that familier with the RX7 so it will be up to you to know how to kill the fuel and spark

2) We will need to use the foxed.ca app mentioned above

3) I do not know what the passing spec for compression is so its up to you to find that out for whatever model rotary you have.

The current list is longer than I anticipated but I still believe its doable, especially if everyone helps out and preps their own vehicle.
