Wow what a beautiful day..... took the extra long way home.
Probably last chance before it goes away for the winter.
It's 6 minutes of me taking the long way home .. nothing exciting ... don't whine for the 6 minutes of your life back. I wonder if any of the local boys know where I am.

6 minutes! you bastard, lately it's taking me 1.25 to 1.5 hours to go 30 km to work. When I moved to Newmarket 20 years ago it took me twenty minutes. Can't wait for snow that should make it 3 hours of brake lights. Orangeville here I come, as soon as I find a house. The other day I timed it on the 404 just south of Stouffville Side Rd. to 7 a distance of less than 10 kms took almost a hour at 8:30 in the morning. Let's build some more mega subdivisions without the infrastructure to support them, thank you Dalton McGuinty for all you've done for the GTA and the Oak Ridges Moraine!
While I'm on a rant, Gas prices today around the GTA jump 4 cents a liter and yesterday crude oil dropped 4 bucks a barrel. What the F@#K is going on, and we just bent over and say "can I have some more, sir, please! Only in Canada, according to the lastest poll..... the second happiest people in the world! No one ask me, if they did they would have gotten a earfull.
Oh, by the way in the poll the happiest age of us happy Canadian's was 12-19 years, duh! If I didn't have to pay for anything I'd be ecstatic. Mom, Dad drive me to soccer, my friends, etc. and while I'm asking for the drive, do you have fifty bucks so I can go to Starbuck's & a movie but I don't have time to cut the lawn.

I am The One!
Rxreckless,
I know how you feel. To get anywhere south of stouffville has turned into an endevour.
What use to take me 20-25min has turned into a 40-45min drive.
Too many people on the road who don't know how to drive! I didn't think it would get too much worse once school started. Man was I wrong!
Before when school started, it would add about 10min more to the commute. Now, it adds anywhere between 20-25min extra.
It's ridiculous. I have no idea where all the bad drivers come from. I thought this is why we have tests and such in place to keep these people off the roads!
I did a test run at nite, to see how long it actually takes with minimum people (the way it would be if we don't have the crazies on the road) and it took me 18min door to door!
And why is it these people are always driving toyotas!! On top of them not knowing how to drive, they have no personalities! It's a horrible situation we live in presently! Damn first world problems!

No posts in teo weeks?! We're not done for the year already, are we? I'm stuck in the damn RX8 this week, and I got a CEL the other day, so I'm all for standing around in the cold and griping about cars, just like the old days. Anyone got a reader they can bring out? :D

Love this rant, THE TRUTH...
and also Neo's rant on why these drivers all are driving Toyotas.. hahaha you know that's right up my ally in terms of hatred.. now we talking... let the hate flow through you
Them Toyota's are like vermin on the road.. the poor ones drive corollas, the familes drive camrys, and the rich ones drive lexus ES350/GS/RX, but they all suck at driving.

Thread revival!
I wanted to see what kind of interest there might be for some west-side Friday meets this summer. In particular, I'll be out west tonight, so if anyone is interested in a mini-meet, post it up!
Also, I want to kick off an East-meets-West event again, which I really wish we would do more often. Too late for this week, and probably a bad weekend for it anyway, but what about next weekend? Cruise out to Square1 for the Markham guys? Regular meetup at Square1 for the 'ssauga guys?

Actually tonight is tough.. I say we try and do meets on a Sunday as well. The Fridays can be tricky, almost everyone works and people aren't around till later. Sundays I feel are lazy days and everyone is usually off. I feel like Sundays we could meet earlier in the day. What do you guys think?
