Recently found this great forum and already got tons of help from awesome members. Since I am from Canada, so decided to post on this forum as well . I bought an RX8 a couple of months back. I have never had a sports car before, so I am a newbie with everything that has to do with cars .

Is there anyone else from Hamilton area on this forum?

When are you guys having one of those get together? I would love to join OR that doesn't happen in winter?

I'm down by the lake... I know there is another female driver I think female around the corner from me driving a stock VR like mine...I always see it parked by the town houses...

You mean the Galaxy Grey parked at the house on the corner? Nope, I'm a mountain boy. There is a blue Eight on Upper Wellington that I've seen quite a few times.

 

Quite a few Stoney Creekers eh? I'm there for school right now, too bad the VR is away for the winter. Live on Barton right beside Timmies across from Mohawk. Keep seeing a VR with Mazdaspeed, is that you Leesha? Regardless its a very sharp looking car.

Oh and if anyone has a front plate removed...I got ticketed this time around on the Red Hill Valley Prkway... Then a few days later I'm exiting and the same cop was making a left turn to go on the highway see me and gives me the ok sign with his fingers because he saw my plate on... THIS CAR ATTRACKS TOOOO MUCH ATTENTION...I'm not even going to tell you how I got the ticket!!

Thank God I put it on with those plastic things temp. or he'd have pulled me over again!!


We can meet one day if you like...just find others and we'll do a Timmies meet and drive to T.O. and party for the night or something...just let me know.

 

Anybody got any recommendations on local area (hamilton) mechanic's? Or should I stick to the dealer?

 

What are you getting done?

 

Nothing planned right now (maybe some carbon fiber pads in the not-too distant future .

Just wondering if there were any options to the dealer for stuff not covered under the warranty.
