22-23 or 29-30 would be best for me

 

I'm headin' out of town from Nov 16 - 22... so anything other then those dates should be fine.

 

The 23 or the 30 are no good for me, everything else I'm good

 

please make it for a sunday, i work every saturday until 1pm, oh, also the 22-23 is definitly no good for me, booked that weekend off to go to the rally of tall pines! cant wait for that. even if everyones availability dictates a saturday meet, if we can assemble after like 2pm, then i could make it no prob (not tomorrow though, working til 5 )

so to sum up for me,

not 8, 22, 23
and no saturdays before 2pm

other than that im up for anytime.

Any of those days should work for me, I'm good till 5:00pm saturdays (start work at 5) and all day sunday.

 

As long as my car is running again I should be good for whenever.

We have some people that can setup meets, but no one has been able to pull off the weekly meets that you did that one winter

ya about this camaro, we will see, something about a 4000lb car is a bit of a turn off, but ya the black one at sema is nice looking, also i have had this depisit on it for like for ever it seems now 2yrs.. the dealer is also being a dick so i pulled it after 2 years.. the manager flat out tells me "hope your ready to pay top $ for it" i was like huh?? and last week they wanted another $3k down (special order) wtf is so special about a blak SS.. wont they all come in black and that gay gold colour?? i was like guys stop treating this $40k , 100,000 units per year car as if its a ZR1 or an enzo.. they say well it will be a high demand with a huge wait list.. and i told them that since the 1st order day till now in north america there was only 3,000 orders, where is the demand?? .. but anywho whatever, we will see when they come out in feb/mar..... ya i will try to come out once or twice for the winter meets and agent we will hit up the 355 game for sure...

 

Oh come on. Did you think this was going to be a "normal" order?? There's alot of "vintage" people trying to relive their youth through these re-invented muscle cars. I'm not surprised the dealer wants more money since these things are suppose to sell like hot cakes.
Just look what happened with the Dodge Challenger (or is it Charger? I can't tell the difference anymore). People were lining up to get these things. It's not uncommon to see 3-4 of them on my way to work.
Although, with the winter weather coming around, I think all of them have gone into hiding or something.
Regardless, why would you want such a big car? Have you taken a look at the interior?? Talk about horrendous!!
I wouldn't pay that type of cash for an American vehicle. That's just me.

 

hey chis.. ya i do expect it to be a normal order.... have you walked by a chrysler dealer lately(newmarket) they have like 4-5 of them 4,100lb cars on the front lawn, there is no demand, i know maybe for the 1st month or two they will be sold out but after that its all down hill for all these muscle cars.. and ya the interior is crap in them especially that challenger thing. i dunno about the maro since they are not out yet but it does look a bit better... also the 8 interior maybe is a lil better but still iffy.. also that is why i pulled the deposit. at our local dealer they only have 5 orders so to say they will rape and pillage u if not really nessary.. i love the seats in the r3 8..

 

That's how it always is. They always want to charge you more than you think and pretend that it's special order.

The 8 has some killer seats. I'm afraid to know how much those Recaros are going for.

You don't need American muscle. Those things can't take a corner to save their lives. Come back to the real sports car side.
