Lenticular Printing

Sorry, folks for delay in updating the thread, busy making cash to run my 8.
Lenticular Printing is a no go, it's a super expense process and the only material is a sticker type label and I'm not for something thats difficult to remove.

If anyone's interested in Lenticular Printing Process
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lenticular_printing

So here another idea on the original cling material, it's based on our beloved rotary engine to scale. Personally I hate the font I used for the words MEMBER/CLUB.COM, but it's close to the banner at the top of the page (a starting point). This new one is white on clear cling substrate which makes it easy to see and read. Later maybe, in four to six different RX-8 colours. I thought of doing a 3D type view of the engine rotor but decided to go more stylized and to the point.

I think the idea is awesome, but I have to agreed with the previous thread of the design. The 2nd one posted is a lot better then the first one...but in my opinion there is still too much going on in the design. Keep up the the good work!

Well, Im at it again order myself a new race SA2005 helmet (black) and thought it need something on it. All that black, base on the RE-Amemiya Logo I've always loved, still going to do a cling of my RX-8 Club of Canada next time were running white on the GTO.

1st one is awesome almost like bio-hazard sign lol

The thing is...will the position of the cling blocked the already limited blind spot? To me if its a longer strip and more narrow then it should be fine....

Thanks again Reck. You the man

Thanks, The 1st is my fav too but at this point these are just stickers for the helmet. Next step I'll play with the 1st for a cling, maybe I'll just enlarge a little I'll mock something up soon.

I like the 3rd one centre 3D-rotor mixed in with the lettering ring of the 1st one...

Looks cleaner to me.

Hook me up with the bottom right black one!!! I'll put it on the INSIDE PASSENGER SIDE REAR WINDOW corner.... Why passenger side? Because we park our cars with the curb of the right.. when people walk by, more easily seen.

OK, let me clarify the 6 up Black, Red and Gray are stickers on round polyester 3.3125 inch circles pre-diecut on 8.5 x11 inch sheets and sealed with a sealant to preserve colour and help prevent cracking. See earlier post with (Re Amemiya Decal 6up Circle 3.313) .jpg and .pdf files.

Now to the Cling! The clings will be printed WHITE on a CLEAR 8.5 x11 inch sheets with both designs (see Cling A_B Print.jpg) the black areas will be CLEAR. The reason I'm going with WHITE is for the maximum visibility on the dark interior of the car. The clings will be about the size of a CD/DVD which is 4.7244 in circle. The reason for the size is so I don't have to get them diecut as this is expensive process, I'll just cut them myself using an old CD.

Search the web for car window clings, most are white. To get a idea of what they'll look like see my attached files:
The gray areas is the CLEAR cling material
Window Cling A.jpg
Window Cling B.jpg
or download for better view:
Window Cling A.pdf
Window Cling B.pdf

Thanks for all interest and there will be a nominal charge to help offset my cost which you will get a sheet of stickers and the clings. Either way I am going thru with the project for myself. I've already ordered the sticker material as this I can do at home in my free time.
Also later I do some for the RX-7 club if I get enough interest.

All other files have been deleted from this thread, hope this does not cause any confusion.

I'm looking into outsourcing the clings if the price is right, maybe even some individual customizing/colours. The outsource company is in the States and I hopefully he gets back to me next week and I can be more informative. if not it going to be ONE press run at work but I am willing to take the Maple Leaf off "B" if that's what people want...... "A" is mine! thats way it stays! We are Canadian and should be proud of it!

If you look at "A" there's a Maple Leaf embedded smack dab in the middle in the biohazard symbol. I am CANADIAN

UPDATE: the outsource company was a no go, so here is the final design with your input on "B" now only has ONE Maple Leaf at the bottom "A" is unchanged will print as soon as we at work print White no TOA at this point I'm doing this as cheap as I can, so I'm waiting till there's white on the GTO (small press), but still trying to get prices silk screening because of the low quantity 50-100 pieces.
