ON RX-8 Club (Canadian) Window Cling

I'm thinking of doing a transparent or semi-transparent Window Cling for Ontario & Canadian Members in four to six different RX-8 colours, the example attached is the same as the present club banner which I use a base. Just want to see if I get enough interest to put it into full production, the cost to you would be material, printing (litho) UV coating (for protecting the printing), Diecutting (shape of the rear side window) and shipping, basically non profit! I'm hoping in three to ten dollar depending on the interest.

For you that do not know what a Window Cling is, here's the best way of putting it, it's a clear or semi-transparent vinyl material that sticks to the inside of the window and is removable and reusable, and will not effect the glass or tints(no glues).

If your interested please post and your opinions are welcome as to base picture, colours, design etc. etc. All input will be taken into account serious and even the hilarious!

I like the concept, but not sure if a picture of your car, on your car is practical... for me anyway. Do you have any other designs in mind?

Sorry if I'm being too blunt, I'm only speaking for myself

I've got to agree, love the idea but i wouldnt want a pic of my car on my car. Also having the words "Canadian Member" is a little bit much since we are all in Canada anyways

I'm not married to anything, that why I'm asking for input, This is a starting point, the mob rules! I've been slow at work again and it something to pass the time.

The more input the more ideas will come of it!

haha me being slow at work consists of buying car stuff and being broke

I wonder just what basic design would look like on that window? Like just a basic rotor emblem? or 2 rotors or something... but have it take up the entire window. would make explaining how the engine works alot easier :P

Are you able to do a semi-translucent holographic vinyl of the rotor moving through it's 3-phases of power cycle such that when one drives by or walks by the car, you can distinctively see the 3 phases?

Thanks for the input so far, I know the car on car was a bad idea, I like the Hologram thingy with the rotors I'll look into it, the technology to produces in the print media. so far so good.
Keep them coming,this is good!

Oh ya about the sister if I can pull this off in next few weeks what gives! LOL

P.S. if you all have something in your heads you would like to see , be clear and I'll try to accommodate a few in the next while.

The rotor idea is awsome and i could see myself getting that, possibly on both windows.

*Edit: Also, if the 3 stage rotor thing works out, it would be cool to have a small one that fits either on the back corner of the front window (dunno if that would get rubbed off when opening window) or in the middle of the rear windows.

On a side note relating to decals or w/e you call them, is there a large or small decal that would go somewhere on the car just saying "Rx8 Club" cause i think that would be nice, expecailly if we saw them on RX8s that we see driving around because then we would know they are in the club. Possibly event putting our Usernames on the car, but some peoples usernames might be a bit strange to have on their cars.

Can you make the window cling look like a scene inside the car; Supermodels in the back seat? A large gun pointing out? I don't know... Looking for some fun ideas!

Good photoshop or whatever you did, but have to agree I don't like that on the car, looks more like a poster or something.

As for ideas..umm..none..i'm not very creative in that way. But keep up the good work!

Supermodels in the back seat LOL A large gun pointing out? That would not go over well with the local constabulary! Say police magnet anyone!
I looked into the holography print process it call "lenticular printing" it may be expensive and my place does not do it! I'm going to research it more before I go any further. But I real like the Rotor idea!. I think I can do something with it.
So far a great response keep the suggestions come I'm sure between all of us we'll come up with something not too tacky!

ON how about something with usernames ?

How about setting up a custom decals that include our 'RX8club.com' user names (i.e. J-MON) ?

I guess this could be prohibitively expensive but I'd love to spot another 8 on the road or parked and see the guy's (girls) user name and be able to send msg's and contact them via the club.

How about something like ... "unless you are naked ... don't touch the car!"
