To the OP.. have you tried sitting in one yet? Go to the dealer and see..
My old boss is 6'4" and over 300, not sure how big (mostly in front ) and he barely fit. He said he would make himself fit and steal it when I wasnt looking.. ha ha.
All depends on how you are built, and how comfortable you want to be..

Hey Everyone,

Sorry to bring this thread back to life but I figure its better than starting a new one while asking similar questions...

I'm 6'0 and I'm having trouble fitting in my RX8 with a helmet on. I plan to do some track days this summer - nothing overly serious more just to get out and enjoy what the car was built for! I have an 05 GT and have had it for 2 years so the sunroof is a bit of a problem for headroom as I have been reading. I have tried reclining the seat so that my head clears but I don't feel comfortable driving with my arms extended that far.

Am I going to have to buy a racing seat? and just as a side note, if I were to get a racing seat, how much lower will I sit in the car and how difficult will it be getting in and out since the car is my daily driver in the summer? I'm young and weigh 200lbs so mobility is not really an issue; however I do let my Dad drive my car once in a while, and although he is quite fit he is rather...seasoned?

Thanks for the assistance,
Steve
