alan really lean on me around dec when i have the money. what i really want for my racecar is to get a spec miata which are fairly cheap and put a p-port 13b in it. i really feel that it would be a lot of fun to play around on the track.

Nice....get him and whomever to start reading up on fixing the eccentric shaft seal...they have 6 months and counting...lol.

FWIW guys, unless things have changed drastically, Mazda dealers are not allowed to open up a Renesis motor anyway... so while familiarity with rotaries and the Renny is always a plus, certain levels of experience are wasted..

i could be wrong and that may have changed since i dont keep up with dealer stuff as per my boycott of dealerships

With the costs of the reman renisis engines around $2400.00 with a core as exchange, it doesnt make sense to rebuild them. It would cost you more to rebuild than replace!

paulmasoner - eccentric shaft they don't open up the motor....they have to take it out of the car mind you
