Just wondering if anyone knows where I can get rotor-shaped key blanks for the RX-8.

they have the ones for RX-7s there, but none for RX-8s, are there even rotor-shaped keys available for the RX-8? 'cause my keyless entry system is dying on me and it's becoming a hassle to fix every few months; so I'm considering just using the key from now on. The remote still works, it's just that the proximity sensors don't work and it can't detect the key is 'in the car' or 'near' the car to open the doors when i press the little black button

 

The keys for the RX8 have a transponder in them, so I don't think you can buy generic blanks.
