Bump.
Why?
To hire?
To take your car too?

If you have a little bit of time and skill most things can be done yourself .... lots of good DIY's out there.

My buddy when he lived in Calgary for a bit, picked up an Rx-8 while living there and found a place called "rx7 specialties" and picked up a full cat-back for cheap fro them since they got it for cheap from a kid with a to-be lease return. He said they had stacks of 3-rotors there. He'd love to go back when he has the money and get a Pettit S/C kit installed by them, since apparently they do it and recommend it for power over turbo. Worth while checking out since you live there, heh.

He did the porting for a friend of mines FD rebuild, and he and another friend are both using their apex seals with very good results.

RX7 Specialties is the only shop in Calgary that I know of. I had an 87 TII 13b reqbuit and ported there with very good results about 8-10 years ago. I also know they are cheaper to buy a set of spark plugs from rather than the Mazda dealerships.
Since mine is still under warranty I have Sunridge Mazda do all the maintenance, with the exception of Gary Moe Mazda in Red Deer once (which completely screwed up and I will never deal with again). They'll do bolt on stuff but if you're looking to seriously mod and do it locally then RX-7 Specialties is the only shop I know.
