greetings from the turks and caicos! me and the woman are down here on a little vaca for a couple weeks. hows the snow in canada guys? and gals? anyway lots of RHD vehicles down here. were actually on the island of provodencials. we were driving by a little delaership here, in my RHD mitsu pajero jr. sweet little truck. and i spotted a VR RHD RX8! i havnt stopped yet but i will later on today. we have good friends that live here on the island and they own and operate the only fab/repair shop on the island so hopefully i can arrange a drive. ill post back up later with some pics and a little more to the story. anybody have deep enough pockets to rescue this thing? it could probably be arranged. ok. back to the beach.

just to be different i guess. would there be very many in canada i wonder? ive also found a couple of FDs that im gonna try and arrange a drive. i miss my car. just getting my rotary fix.

while i was in Barbados this summer the guy right across from us had a rhd rx8 that he had just brought over from england and wasn't on the road yet. i always miss my car when i go on vacation its why i love florida so much since i get to bring the 8 with me.

i doubt there would be any rhd rx8's in canada why go thru all the trouble plus the hassle of day to day life when you could just buy a lhd one

ya that shop was pretty decent. going to drive one of the RHD FDs i was talking about. itll be my first drive in a 7. im pretty keen. on a small side note.....still on vaca.....i caught 3 barracuda yesterday. and i saw an eagle ray on my Bday scuba dive!

so ive had an amazing day! i drove a RHD FD, and a RHD supra! both cars were in pretty decent shape considering theyve been left to rot on this island the FD was a 96 and in better shape then the 94 supra. i was going through a little speed withdrawl since the 8 has been stored now for a bit. i had the FD up to 190kph in no time. what a car! totally rust free. 8500 bones. i could never find that VR 8 i was talking about....

so on our way to an xmas party last night night, i spotted the familiar headlight/foglight configuration/color, and i knew it was the rx8 i was looking for. as it passed us in the opposite lanes my suspicions were correct. the hunt is on!
