Thumbs up Props to Scarborough Mazda

Hey All...I didn't find a thread on this, and think it deserves one.

Most of us have made many comments along the way about other dealerships and then comment on there positive experience they receive at Scarb Mazda. So why not post your stories here as they come up and let Al and his crew there know how much we appreciate there assistance.

I will start with mine below.

Cheers!

Last night I was driving down the 401 not far my place, back from my cottage, all of a sudden I heard this noise like running over gravel or something, but couldn't see anything on the road. Moved over to the middle lane from the fast lane and my battery light came on, so moved over again to the slow lane while watching my gauges. My temp started to climb so pulled over asap and turned off the car. There was steam under the hood, opened it and my alternator belt was gone, and coolant had an orgasm all over the place.

From what I could see no holes in any hoses, but as RevIllusion said it was probably from the excess outlet hose. Which after inspection seemed to be.

Towed it to Scarb Mazda (which cost me more cause it was farther, but worth it) and after a little confusion at first, but after talking to Al, I was able to talk to Anthony who was working on it. When the belt went the water pump lost pressure which made the coolant back up and come out the overflow.

New belt going on today and she will be all good again!

Thanks again Al and Scarb Mazda!

Thanks RevIllusion for the ride home man...really appreciated it!
