I believe zerobio mentioned an interest when I PMed about this meet, PMed him again, to double check with him. But I`m guessing he wouldn`t miss it, since he showed interest in DB suspension install in a previous thread.

14 8s and 1 7, 15 Rotaries on their way to RPM.

UPDATED: Attached on the first page is a link to a google map entailing our cruise up to RPM. Made points of reference to the meeting places, along with ideally who should be there. I know, I got time to kill.

http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UT...f361d91d6&z=10

Anyone that drops out last minute will be forced to drive a corolla to MotM later year. I know its harsh, but thats the guidelines of Ontario RX8 Club, Neo your included even if you do drive a 7.

Sweet! 15 8s and 1 7. Nice. Just wondering if spd frk is meeting up with us at 7 and woodbine or at sauga. Spd frk, cruise with us, stop taking the 407. Ever since he got his scangauge hes been all about the mpg.

Anyone have an SLR camera, or one those in between SLR and a point and shoot camera. I`ll bring my point and shoot, its very decent, but an slr would be nice for this meet.

hey ..... yeah I am ok to leave kingston whenever......so I can be at the fairview mall at 945 - 10 ish. No pulley...already installed mine, just have a clutch line and possibly some shocks, but they may get here early enough that I will be able to put them in before hand.......hopefully my tires will arrive as well...but I am not holding my breath. So just to confirm.....fairview mall at 945. I am bringing beer..........as far as i am concerned I can live off of it for several days and have so thats what I will bring..........bringing food is iffy for me as it will sit in the car for 3+ hours.

Gecko,

Don't worry about food. Worst case scenerio we can always pick up food in Kichener.

I think arriving at Fairview mall for 9:15-9:30ish should be fine. Gives us about 1.5hr to get to RPM and begin the festivities.

I know a few RX-7's might be able to show. But I think there might be something happening on that weekend as well.

I'll post this meet up as well.

I know alot of them will not make it for the Niagara cruise because there's a tunning session on that weekend.

I'll post up a new thread on the 7 forum regarding this.

I have to get my car on the road by next weekend if I plan to bring the 7 down. I hope the weather plays out. Otherwise I might have to hitch a ride.

I have a so called "semi-SLR" digital camera.. a.k.a. prosumer class digicam. It's old, and low resolution, but excellent optics and image quality. I'll bring it to take pics.

Neo you better come out in the seven, or you`ll be driving a GEO METRO to MoTM. Sounds good footman, meet looks really promising, hope RPM will respond to us soon.

wow, massive skyline GTR crackdown on Saturday night on hwy 7 / leslie area.... The OPP are in full force now on street racing... I hope we don't get any trouble on the 401 just driving at the speed limit....

I read on Saturday night, a bunch of Skyline's at a skyline meet started off on the roof parking level of the CGI building at 7/Leslie. Then the group splintered off. Some went to Yorkdale, some stayed behind. They were peeling out of the lot and making a lot of show/smoke, so I guess the cops/public caught on....

A bunch of cars left on Hwy 7 westbound towards 400, and a helicoper came out of nowhere with the spotlights... several black chevy tahoe unmarked SUV's came with lights, and massive arrests were made.... Then the cops knew about the yorkdale second location and were there immediately. The Skylines got intel and fled the Yorkdale area and scurried away....

Man, that **** going down on Saturday night was like straight from the Fast and the Furious movie...

Turns out there's a trackday on April 19th. You guys wouldn't miss me if I didn't make it, right?

It's a tough call... I could come to this and hopefully meet a bunch of people who neer come out to meets, or I could drive really fast, legally, with some friends.

Footman,

Well, you kinda have to admit this is their fault. It never fails to amaze me the stupidity of these people.
People know there are going to be cops out in full force now that the snow is gone. But what do they do? They draw more attention to themselves!
I think they got what they deserve!

As for the cruise, it'll be broad daylight and we won't be breaking any land speed records. Freakin hwy 401 is packed all the time!! The only time we'll be able to get to any speed is when we leave the city. And even then I wouldn't want to take the chance of getting clocked at over the 150km/h limit and get my car taken away from me!!
Keep it under 150km/h at all times!!

I'm gonna be posting up another track meet for Mosport like the one we had last year. Hold on tight guys!! The season is well under way!

RPM Update

Just talked to Joe from RPM, they've just been busy lately prepping for Deals Gap. No problem with us arriving there at 11 am. Plenty of help and time for installs including my brakes, DB's suspension, Footman's CAI, qtwre is you still want your pads and midpipe put in and whatever else. In terms of food, Joe's gonna talk to Dan, possibly ask their resident chef if he has any ideas, so thats still in the air. Turnout from our roll call and couple of locals Joe knows of puts us at around 20 or so rotaries at this meet. Footman checked with Joe, they do need the car the day before, basically all day Friday. Last year when I was checking ways to get back to Toronto, Greyhound seemed the way. Perfect thing for you is they drop you off by town centre, but the scheduling is whats gonna be a problem. they start as early as 5 30 am from Kitchner to 5 pm thou. So let me know what you decide. I will probably be going in on Friday morning, drop my car off there, and take the Greyhound back to town centre and bus it back to Markham. I'll probably hitch a ride back to RPM with either proficientone or someone else.
