Update

Update, so talked to Joe again, final details regarding food, and prices for footman's wheel swap are getting sorted out probably by tonight. Everything is stil a go, Footman and I are dropping our cars off at RPM on Thursday night, Greyhounding it back to GTA. This gives RPM a day to do the calipers on Friday. And the cruise still goes on, we us meeting up Fairview, then Timmies at Financial Rd, and then finally at RPM.

Update:
RPM just PM'ed me, since its going to be a big turnout, well bigger than normal turnout, its only fair we cover food and drink costs. Basically I suggest two possibilities.
One: Everyone brings there own stuff whether for themselves or for the group, including food and drinks.
Two: We all pitch in and just pick up a bunch of stuff there on the way. There isnt any big holidays coming up or on that weekend, so stores should be stocked.

I think option two would be the best, and if we have 20 or so members coming, gathered from this roll call and locals by RPM, maybe if all pitched in say 10 to 20, that would be a lot of food for the day along with drinks, essentially we're looking at a budget of 200 to 400 dollars. I think thats more than enough to pay for burgers sausages, kebobs, 2-4s and more.

400 for 20 something people can buy you a lot of stuff to eat.. some can be used for beer seriously...

Take this for example... a box of burgers is about $8.99, some hotdogs/sausages $2.99. .that's no where near $20.... when was the last time you finished a box of 8 burgers by yourself?

This is excellent.

BTW, I printed a copy of the AEM CAI intsall manual.. The actual install of it isn't hard from the looks of it ,but the removal of the stock intake and all the front fender under panels and bumper looks excruitiatingly difficult!!! I hope Gecko has this **** down and solid =)

Yes, it is going to be one serious meet with a serious budget. And we're getting amazing apple pies from the Big Apple itself, courtesy of Gecko69.

Wish I had an autospammer to easily spam the roll call thread about the meet, takes too long individually pming. I think I'll be swapping out my transmission and differential oil also that day. Thinking of going Royal Purple Max Gear.

I think our best bet is to just pick up everything around Kitchener, they gotta have a Loblaws, or M&M meets around there.

That'll be interesting to see... A bunch of RX-8's and RX-7's at the grocery store. That's not going to attract any attention. lol

I think this is the best idea though. We can stop at the grocery store, pick up what we need, and then head over to the shop.

Don' t worry about your cars, I'll up the proximity sensor on my car to cover your cars. You can park beside me Neo for maximum coverage. I can see the cashier now, as we ring up all that food.

It's a good thing RX-8's have usuable trunks.
I can barely fit a few bags of groceries in the trunk of the RX-7.

I've only been shopping in it twice. I try not to make a habit of it because people are stupid!! They leave shopping carts lying around, and then you have the morons who can't park!

Gecko, you're my saviour... I should let you know that after it's installed... I gotta drive it aruond a bit to verify that the MAF screens were the cause of my "high-RPM sputtering" issues... if that doesn't fix the problem... sigh.. I feel bad for asking you to help me put the stock back on after, so I'll definitely pay you or something.

haha, no worries, I will bring my tool set, jack stands( not required ) and anything else I can think of. Also, you may just want to clean the inside of the intake...especially the lower tube that connects to the filter....may be some dried up dirt in there from any water sitting in there and also, I would clean your filter before you install in again on your car.

Since I am coming out of Niagara I won't be able to meet you all that easily, I'll just bring a cooler full of stuff for the BBQ.
