Official: IMPORTFEST 2008
Official: IMPORTFEST 2008
Don't we love looking out the window and see the snow storm hit us every week???
Anyways, this is something I am looking forward to... 2 IMPORTFEST this year!!!
The official announcement will be posted on the website (www.importfest.com) later on this week.
May 10th ~ 11th, Downsview Park.
It will be a lota action happening @ this one, since it's the early summer and it's outdoor.. gonna be a lota hot models, hot cars and a lot more activities that you haven't seen @ IMPORTFEST before!!! It will be more like a mini NOPI national... all I can say is that if we are interested in registering as a group, we gotta do it early cuz I know the spots will run out really soon!!!
I will also unveil my car @ this show, the car is getting changed over as we speak, different exterior, interior...
September 6th, Metro Toronto Convention Center.
You know it, the biggest indoor car show (Sport Compact) in Canada. Look out for more details!!!

More info will be available as time goes on... but if there are more RX8/RX7 owners interested, I can have a section set-up for strickly Rotary Heads... I think that'd be really cool!!
TurboEight, there's not much requirement really... like I said I can get everyone registered as a group and get a group discount... by time comes just make sure your car is nice and shiney!!! lol

This thread should be subcribed to all those who are intrested, as I believe rockstar will update info as time goes by.
Hopefuly we'll get enough intrested to have the rotary section!
I remember the 1st time I attended this event.
The DVP was closed so we had to use all the side streets to get down there. There we were, a string of RX-7's trying to make it down to Skydome for the show.
Of course it was bumper to bumper all the way down. So naturally we got alot of thumbs up and some interesting suggestions.
After what felt like an eternity, we finally made it.
I felt so awful about dragging all these people down for this show, I actually bought a round of drinks for all of them at a bar we retreated to nearby.
This was back even before I got to really know some of these people. I'm happy to report the majority of them have become very good friends.
In my opinion, if you want to see what's at the show just head to your nearest open parking lot on a Wed. night or weekend and you'll see all those cars without having to pay $20 (back then it was $20, God knows what they charge now...).
Unless of course you want to get some autographs from all the "import girls" LOL!
