Yeah just to touch on the OP's post, I was looking for a decent 7" GPS/DVD top-loading kit. I've seen some guys on this board with it, so how much does it cost to do it and what are the risks if any? Also, is there bluetooth capabilities on this system, cuz I would love to pair my phone to use the handsfree technology as TOMTOM's Go 720 (I think the model number is) has?

Dude, no offense, but I think the OP had the exact same question I did. I was merely agreeing with the OP and asking the same thing. Do you have any idea of any stores that would custom do this for our RX-8's?

Clarion N.I.C.E. sounds like exactly what you are looking for...I plan on going that route myself.

True, but I doubt future shop and best buy will do custom installs for our RX-8 dash. I mean to make it a top-loading device requires precision work I imagine. I also don't want to void my warranty....I will check with Mazda to see if they will do it and how much they charge. If they don't do it, I will just end up buying the TOMTOM GO 720 device (Which has both bluetooth phone capabilities and map share) for about $330 until my warranty runs out. And maybe play with it after.

Wow, yeah def. not worth it. I'll stick with the TOMTOM idea. For that kinda money, I can get the OEM side skirts, front lip, and rear valences!
