thanks, Chuck.
i'd like to echo that sentiment to all in the NE area of the States, and Southern Ontario... i hope the power outages won't be too prolonged.

We're still out of power over here in Toronto (North York) I've been at work since 6am, and now it's around 12am. We're running on generators. I'll keep everyone posted.

Just got power this morning, UPS on my pc decided to blow up my power supply and my HUB! GRRRRR
Warranty is useless as you have to mail the stuff out to california, it would cost more for shipping than to buy new stuff.

I finally got power at 6 pm. Last night half the building was outside having an improptu street party. At peak, I'd say there was about 40 of us drinking warm beer and wine. Elgin St was just packed.
Our office has a generator but since the local ISP was down, there was no point in having the servers up so we shut them down. At least we know the backup system works!

My RX-8 spent 4 hours trapped in a car wash. The rinse had just completed, and the wax was yet to come. The car wash door does not have a manual release like home garage doors have.
Some police officers came, and one of them climbed the garage-door on the car wash. He disassembled some parts of the automatic opener, and then the two officers held the door open while I drove out.
I guess it serves me right for not washing it by hand at home! :p
