New Toronto RX8 meet.

Hahahahaha....now that I got your attention. I think a tribute to the Leafs is in order seeing as they suck and will not make the playoffs. What will Bob Cole do when he doesn't have a team to be totally biased for when he calls a game?

Bubbles knows who to cheer for!!!

Too funny Rotten !!
I really hate that I'm a Leafs fan sometimes...but ya gotta support the home team.
I'll be cheering for Calgary, Edmonton (sorry Rotten) and Vancouver in the playoffs - absolutely not Ottawa and those stinkin' Canadiens!

Hey watch your language...... Habs rule!!!!!!

Now that we have the right guy behind the bench and the wrong guy out of the nets, anything can happen.

DO NOT TAKE THIS 2006 HAB TEAM LIGHTLY!!!! They've creamed, repeat:CREAMED Toronto back to back, beat Ottawa last night and have won 6 or 7 games in a row.

I just might have to book my plane ticket to Montreal to walk the Stanley Cup parade for proably the 9 th time.

Shamblerock...get your head out of your ****! Where it is true that the Leafs are only one notch above a semi-pro team, you can't go throwing out "Cup" references just because the Habs have had two good weeks. If Ottawa gets healthy the Habs will get slaughtered...if they even make it far enough to play them.

It's 8 wins in a row, and you call yourself a habs fan

Sens will choke in the playoffs, even if healthy, like always.

As Pete said: GO BILLS GO

Rotten, although I have respect for the flames and they have a player that I admire who can lead them to a cup (Iginla) because of his leadership qualities, I'm ready to plunk down a few$$$ that the Habs will win a cup before the Flames do. 10 spot?

Sauga Boy, I didn't say they will win! If I really werer confident that they would win for sure, I would be right on top of every game and have memorized the whole season. But they proved to be bums on several occassions the past few years. I've been saying for years that Theodore was an inconsistent joke and should be traded. Now that he's gone, I have higher hopes.

the only reason they might be able to go farther is that they play in the weaker conference.

We have the best goal-tender in the legue and that will determine how far we go. You have two weeks inwhich you call a season.

Don't forget about history and the hockey gods. Both showed up just in time in 86 and 93.

Will history repeat itself? Yes............but maybe not this year. Time will tell. Mtl's speed is almost that of Calgary's. Would love to meet you guys in the final.

As for the weaker division, that's bull and you know it. Every point in the east must be earned by goal in the net and bruises on your face. The new rules for the softies amongst us suit the Calgary Flamers just fine.

fine but you stick Montreal in our conference and they don't make the playoffs. If you put the Flames ion the Eastern Conference they would do better then the Habs have.

I really don't know who is going to win the cup this year. There are so many teams you just don't know what they will do: Carolina, Buffalo, Anaheim...Dallas

The bruins always sucked. When was the last time they won the cup? They will never win again. Why? Because they don't recruit Quebec players!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let me put it this way. I've hated the "stinkin' Canadiens" since I was conceived!! You see both my parents were Bruins fans and they begat a little Bruin fan. I've since seen the light (no , not the red light behind the Toronto net!). I've switched allegiances to the Leafs after I moved to Toronto in the late 80's.

I suppose ... but what I failed to mention is that between cheering for the Bruins (early to mid-70s) and Leafs (late 80s - present), I cheered for the Islanders because they were underdogs for so long, but then they got too good, then I cheered for the Oilers because I loved the style of hockey they played. Then I cheered for the Leafs after moving to Toronto. It hasn't all been futility though it has been (and probably will continue) for quite a while.

I guess you were a major holder of Bre-x stock too!! One day you'll see the light (the red light on the net of the visiting team playing the hags). That visitors net was the original "Red Light District". We sold the expression to the Dutch and built an Olympic stadium with the proceeds.

Brother Mic, the Bruins are watching the playoffs from the sidelines. They are even worse than the Leafs, if that's possible. Remember leaf fans, it wasn't quinn's fault, it wasn't Sundin's fault. Bring them both back next year and watch the playoffs from the sidelines YET AGAIN>>>>> Oh and don't forget to pay triple for the tickets next year....... SUCKERS!!!!!!!
