names Jay just picked up a used Sunlight Silver RX-8 GT with the appearance package. Anywayz, been following this forum for quite some time, amazing community. Just thought I say Hi, also just wondering if we will be having a GTA meet anytime soon, maybe Dave and Busters?

Oh come on. You had it easy being at the front of the grid! Try dodging everyone else in the back and still come in a close 2nd right behind you! That took alot of skill! lol

The "appearance" package are those silly bolt on parts you see on some of the 8's. The front bumper gets a airdam installed, they add some sort of darty looking things near the rear wheel wells right underneith the suicide door and I think the rear bumper gets a small plastic piece added to it as well.
I think the only thing that doesn't look out of place is getting the side strakes added.
Otherwise it's more parts you have to lug around.

BTW what year was your 8 04, 05, 06?

 

My 8 is an 04, got all the recalls done so its all good. Just went into the dealer yesterday to get my taillight replaced for condensation. And my 8 is actually American, just recently moved up here for school. I've been wandering is there any way I can get the dealership to get my defroster button fixed, its cracked, and have found tsbs and info on the american forums regarding this issue, with many owners getting them repaired under warranty.

 

Some future mods for the car:

Will be getting:
Side strakes
Led Bulbs to replace interior lights, high beam/drl, and others
rotary accent front and rear
Clear side markers

Just wondering if ebay would be the cheapest place to get this stuff or does anybody no of other places?
