I am now being treated to a new engine courtesy of Mazda Canada for my almost brand new Rx8 for a coolant leak between the rotors. This is a " first " for my dealership, but there is nothing new under the sun so I was wondering if anyone out there has had a similar problem with their ride?

There have been a few reports of the same problem on the forum.
I did a search for coolant leak and found a few , including the one below.

We've had one report of this problem in Australia in the very early days (probably 18 months ago).

 

I had my engine replace 1.5 months after I bought it......no problems since the replacement.
