Haha....just coincidence...yeah, thats it, hehe. But on a serious note.....how do you guys stand the noise from the exhaust.....I found it way too loud.....maybe its just the midpipe, exhaust combo?

 

You 8 owners are funny. lol

Exhaust can never be too loud. Just ask the guys what the Scarboro race car sounded like as it climbed the hill after corner 2.

 

lol, i am eagerly waitin the install of my mazdspeed with the B&B midpipe.

 

looking forward to hearin that combo, the stock 8 is too quite.

Think I need something between the combo and just the midpipe.....maybe I will make a custom exhaust ( single sided ) with a resonator and tail silencer to see what that comes out like?......new project...sweet!

 

I'm just going to have MS CAI and MS Exhaust on the car without any mods to the midpipe or cat... it should be alright not too loud/ricey.

So how was the lapping? Did you get many laps in? How fast were you guys hitting on the straight? Was there any passing?

Al was using the straight to regroup everyone so max I hit was < 150 kph
No passing
I was near the back with a bunch of RX-7s in front of me. Those things just can't corner

 

well i enjoyed my first time on a real track. i could have spent all day lapping around, wish we could have went a bit faster probably best we didnt thu.

 

If it weren't for that damn Speed6, we would have been lapping much quicker.

Regardless, it was a good bit of exercise for the FD.

 

next time will have to organize the starting grid from fastest to slowest. still had tonnes of fun thu
