We should be at the gates latest 10:45am. The distance from the meet point to the destination is approx 75km, so it will take about 1 hour to get there. We may have to line up to get in, so we should aim for a 10:00am arrival time.

Therefore, the meeting time is 8:30am at the Jack Astors parking lot at Scarborough Town Centre (STC)

Directions are here: Just exit 401 to Progress Ave. You will see a Best Buy followed by a sharp right hander (zoom zoom morning fun). Make a left at the lights onto Progress Ave. and one block down you will see it on your left hand side.






We will depart at 9:00am SHARP and follow this route to Mosport:

 

You really shouldnt be any later than that. If registration is closed, you wont be able to get your wristbands to get on the track at lunch time!

Okay here is the deal for Sunday. When you are driving towards the gate to get in, stop at the registration center. They will be open until 10:45am. When you get there they will get you to sign the waiver, give you your wrist band etc so you can get into and on the track at lunch time. We will have an area to the inside of turn 1 where everyone can park and meet etc. Because of race scheduling I will only be able to run one series that day at I think we will run G70 with the vintage guys so we can use it for a test day. I will be the last race before the lunch break. When I get back from that race I will jump into my Speed 6 and the we should be able to go out and do our pace laps. Yeah, 9am is cutting it too close. I don't know how you guys usually get to Mosport, but my suggestion is to take 35/115 instead of driving through Bowmanville. 35/115 is a much more scenic drive and you won't get stuck behind slowpoke since it has 2 lanes.

 

I'll try and make the meeting point, but thats damn early for me.

I'll be driving a customers FD, so no lapping for me. I just need to put km's on it to break in the motor.

They're changing the forecast now, it might not rain until Monday.

 

As #84racing puts it, the weather is one predictable animal.

It looks like we might be able to bring the FD out for a change.

On Sunday morning, I will only refer to the people who's name appears on that list and depart before 9am if they are all there. I can't be anymore clear on that. Instructions are very simple to follow.

It was a good bit of fun last year.

 

I checked the weather and it appears it's going to co-operate. So I might take the FD out. If however it changes, I'll appear in the Miata. Either way, I'm going to have some fun. Maybe I'll take the Miata just to feell what it's like with no roof.
