For the past month, in the GTA area I have spotted a lot of 8s out on the road (at least 12 where I normally only see about 1-2 per week if lucky). It goes to show that this car can go all season if need be- funnest drive I had during the major snow storm (with my winter tires and DSC on of course). That night I actually took my mother to the hospital along with my dad and I don't know how I was able to fit everyone in considering my mom just had hip replacement surgery. The miracles of the 8!

Anyways, being a Chinese fellow, I sometimes get a little peeved at my own kind for having the strangest or lack thereof driving habits for the 8s. Half of those cars I have spotted the past month belonged to a bunch of Oriental guys who seem oblivious to all else around them when they are driving! I mean I pulled up in front of this car with Ti-Grey about 2 hours ago in the Pacific Mall area, and he didn't even glance sideways even though I was in front of him a couple of times. I even honked to wave but these HK guys got no sense of whatever....... It happened a number of times. Well this kid looked kind of scared maybe- but this all goes to make me think about whether the 8 is a car for driving enthusiasts or poser boys whose parents send them money from some satellite suburb in the Far East!

I have been driving for almost 20 years now and have driven and owned all kinds of cars (BMW M3, 328, Accord, Civic, etc) and I could say I bought this car because the sound of the rotary is intoxicating. Yet I am always aware of everything going on when I drive.

Well- live and learn I guess!
