just to let you know all know, I've created a facebook group for the GTA area so we can manage meets and share photos instead of posting them on the forum (which we all know is a huge P.I.T.A!).

Yeah, just to be clear, the title might be misleading (if Maffu can change that), this is for the GTA area... not limited to just the east-side people... encourage and welcome west enders too to join.

haha im from the westside and i came earlier LOL you guys should move the meeting place somewhere along 401 at least hehe kinda too far up north but neways had a great time lots of 8s showed up and i was the latest one to come haha, neways ill be posting up picture from tonight later on facebook =)
can't change titles for threads? or at least i don't know how...if someone can teach me : ) or if an admin could change it to GTA instead that would be awesome!! haha

Jordan that's not west, it says you're from NORTH YORK??? west is like Sauga/Oakville/Brampton! Which there are a bunch from that area too...
the 8club here is historically divided between the west and the east/north people due to how far the meets are apart and we couldn' seem to find a happy middleground to accomodate everyone.
Anyways, lets try this facebook approach and hopefully get some unity amongst the members in 2012.

FYI, I've created a DOCUMENT on the group, members on the page should self-edit and add their forum name/real facebook name to help members identify each other better in real person.
We really want to keep this page strictly to people who both a) own an rx8 and b) are actually in GTA area.
Some are honorary members due to legacy status and will be okay to stay on member list.
Again, reiterate, it's not as what the title says.. it's not ONLY for Markham/Scarborough RX8 owners... Maffu can you please change that? It's in thread tools.
