Markham/Scarborough/Richmond Hill - Random Chatter
This is just a thread for people in our area to chat about stuff. Since many posts get lead off topic by random chatter I would like to make a post that is off topic to begin with.

I was at the Kennedy Commons, car meet yesterday for the first time and I was pretty amazed to see 100+ cars and people there. There were mostly civics and accords with some integras and such, but alot of ricers. It was loud exhaust central, im amazed there were no cops. There would be the random nice cars rolling by their gfs in the passenger seat.
Nice cars I saw include a red R35, Blue NSX, Aston Martin Vanquish, and a Red G35 with what looked like GTR front bumper. This doesnt include the few actually nicely modded, DC2s and EK9s.
It was BOV all night long, pretty funny hearing the random BOV sounds going off all over the place. There was one SUV with the nicest sounding Bass, it shook things 30M away.

(In other words, was UNABLE to fit the r1's ~_~)
Dunlop 215/45/18 tires
(In other words, 10mm less tread width = crappy tires)
The plus side:
Previous owner painted it (close to) gunmetal(?), and so it was cheaper to buy: $400

A Very strange thing happened yesterday! As i was driving east on 14th Avenue from Woodbine I made a left turn where 14th Ave changes into another street where you need to make a left turn or it changes into another street, and all of a sudden my car starts to slide out! It was a nice sunny day with no rain or anything, but my car went 45 degrees and started slidding toward the lane i was entering. The sliding was very smooth, there was no tiresquealing or anything, it wasnt untill I was strait in the left lane that the traction control started beeping and when it did it only beeped for half a second. Im wondering if the road had oil or anything on it, or maybe there was sand or something. All i know is it was very strange...
