Anyone Down for a meet at Wasaga beach on Canada Long weekend. i think it would be exciting for us to go all together. I went to wasaga May 2-4 and was one of the only one's with an RX8.

Fernando, re: the Wasaga trip, you'll want to start a new thread for that. You don't want to limit it to eastsiders only I assume, and it'll be missed too easily in here. But to keep the topic going - I'd be up for a Wasaga run! Probably no good for the long weekend though. I think a regular weekend would be better anyway.

Footman: Yonge / Hwy 7 ... Isn't that more like "Richmond Hill meet"? I'd say you need a new thread too! :P but hey what the hell, I guess I'll drop by.

 

wow great meet. I showed up at 11:30pm and there were still people!!! Excellent. Next week is 400/7, a little more west. I hope the west-enders can come out too. Will post more later.

He did! Also, we meet the guy from togue.ca...the cool turbo rx8 but he was driving his gf's car.

Maybe we can go to track with him next time...damn I was so excited when I discovered he's the guy who keep spitting fire in all those togue.ca photos as the only rx-8 representin I thought I scared him a bit hm...stalker fail lol

A few of my friends, who drove Mazda3's with me and that have moved onto bigger and better things, we always hang out on Wednesday nights at La Paloma in Woodbridge (Weston and Hwy7) around 8pm. Missed the Friday meet, Friday's for me are kind of tough, however if anyone is interested in a mini meet on Wednesday nights we are usually there, and a friend of mine in the group also has an RX-8. I would welcome anyone out who wants to come out. See you then.

I live 10 minutes from that area plus I pass by there on a daily basis around 8ish. I will do a drive by and see if you guys are around this Wednesday. Do you guys normally hang out inside La Paloma or in the parking lot next to your cars? If there are no 8's there, I wouldn't know who to look for.

 

Hey yeah we usually just chill outside of our cars in between kelseys and Giant Dollar, depending on weather, if it rains we usually move the party at the tims on Weston and 407 inside.

Just a heads up about tonights mini meet at La Paloma (Weston and Hwy7), I'll be there at 8pm in a red 2005 rx8 with a silver gas cap FTL lol (getting OEM painted picking up on Friday!) ... another buddy of mine will also be there in a grey RX8 2004. Just yell out for Claudio or my buddy Julien, we usually have about 10-15 ppl show up on the regular but the rest of them don't drive RX8s. Anyone is welcome to come out, see you there tonight.
